This is an exclusive all-inclusive resort where non-guests are welcome to enjoy the beach, bar and beachside restaurant. Mind you, only guests can test the watersports and beach chairs. LOCAL ATTRACTIONS:
Shirley Heights Lookout. Located just across from Nelson's Dockyard on English Harbor, this was used as the official lookout in the late 1700's   to scan the seas for squalls and ships  unfriendly  to the British Royal Navy. The panoramic view  is still used as a lookout today but in a more relaxed setting with bar and restaurant.  The weekly Sunday afternoon 'jump-up' features local musicians and the sounds of the Island steel bands.

QUALITY OF BEACH:
A long, long sandy beach with rocky headlands bookending one of the loveliest strands of beach in the Caribbean. Photographers take note:  a picture perfect palm leans way out over the sand at one end of the beach. You'll see it !

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS:
Non-guests just have to continue buying drinks at the beachside bar to be able to use the hotel's beach chairs. And since there is no natural shade on this beach, the covered bar is a very popular spot.
